Foodlink S.A, member of FDL Group, leading Company in the sector of 3rd Party Logistics, based in Aspropyrgos, seeks to cover the following opening:
Assistant Line Manager (operation in Freight Forwarding)
The job role will handle the following tasks/areas:
· Freight forwarding operations.
· Handling road imports
Key responsibilities:
As an assistant freight Line Manager, you’ll need to:
· Sending offers, arrival notices, scheduling of deliveries and receipts.
· Handling & monitoring imports and related documents (including invoicing).
· Communication with clients, agents & carriers to ensure smooth, timely and efficient handling of shipments.
· Accept / assign loading orders to partners and monitor their progress.
· Proactive and Inspirational leadership that is keen to develop him/herself and others in line with the FDL group culture. You will also share knowledge and best practices with the team and the rest of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 1-3 years in a Freight Forwarding company
- Dynamic personality with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English.
- Additional language will be appreciated accordingly.
- Ability to multi-task and high level of comfort working in fast paced environment.
- Computer literacy in standard software applications (MS Office, ERP etc)
